SINGAPORE, August 28, 2023 – Smartcom announced its contributions to Special Olympics Singapore (SOSG) for the Play Inclusive 2023 event, the largest unified sports competition in Singapore. This event was successfully held on 26 August 2023 and will continue on the 16 September 2023 which will be participated by over 650 talented athletes with disabilities and their awesome Unified Partners (UP), players without disabilities.
Smartcom provides our push-to-talk solution for this sports event in which the handsets are used by the committees for effective coordination island-wide during the event. We believe that providing the best possible PTT handsets to the SOSG committees would be beneficial to the success of the Play Inclusive 2023.
This initiative is aligned with Smartcom's corporate social responsibility (CSR) values, which aim to emphasise social responsibility and make a positive impact on society and the community. This would also be beneficial for SOSG, which would gain a committed partner who contributes tangible value, like free handset rentals, that directly enhances the event experience.
